This is a light colored genuine Buffalo Horn Beer Mug with a wood base and having a marble appearance with a blend of light creams and tans. This polished buffalo horn mug, viking horn beer tankard is made out of natural water buffalo horn and was imported from India.  This horn beer mug, tankard measures approximately 8-3/4 inches tall measured from the base of the mug to the top of the handle and 4-7/8 inches wide from the handle to the widest section on the mug.  The mug will hold approximately 24 ounces of liquid; which will vary slightly depending upon the shape of the horn it was made out of.  
 DO NOT fill with hot food or beverages - the surface will be damaged.  This is a natural product  - Hand Wash - NOT Dishwasher Safe!

 Natural buffalo horn beer tankards, mugs are made using traditional methods which make an excellent re-enactment piece. The underside of the handles are naturally rough and are not fully polished.  The exterior has been hand polished,  and may have a slight odor and minor scratches,  due to buffing and the natural material used.  The variations in shape and color can only be made by nature: thus a horn may have natural blemishes which will not affect its use, but does verify its authenticity.
