Voluta Lapponica shells, also known as Harulina lapponica for hermit crab changing shells and a colorful shell prized by shell collectors for its markings. Harpulina lapponica or Voluta Lapponica, is a species of sea snail in the family Volutidae, the volutes and found in the Indian Ocean. The exterior of the voluta lapponica shell is peach colored to tan with numerous vertical rows of dark brown patches. They measure between approximately 2 inches to 2-1/2 inches in size. Some may be a little under or over the size. They make a pretty focal point when placed in a glass container.
