Genuine Shortfin Mako Shark Jaw for Sale for Display and Crafts measuring 13-1/2 inches wide and  10-1/2 inches high, measured from the left edge of the cartilage across to the right edge of the cartilage.  review all photos. This mako shark jaw was imported from Taiwan and obtained from the fishing industry. It was harvested for food, cleaned, sun dried and whitened in Taiwan.  It has a yellow tint.The teeth are extremely sharp.  This jaw will have natural imperfections such as: missing, chipped teeth, cuts and holes in the cartilage and blemishes.  


  Mako sharks are the fastest of all species of sharks in the world. They can swim at a top speed of 60 miles per hour when they are migrating or hunting for food. Mako shark prefers to consume fish that are found in schools. Primary tuna, herring, and swordfish. Makos average between 6 and 9 feet long, but can reach 12 feet in length and can weigh up to 1,000 pounds. Sharks have numerous rows of teeth.  When they lose one, another moves forward to replace it.  Sharks don't chew their food. They use their powerful sharp teeth to bite and rip their food.
