Grade B African Warthog Skull measuring approximately 14 inches long and 7-1/2 inches wide. It has ivory tusks measuring approximately 6-1/4 inches, measured around the curve of the tip. (Small piece of bone is missing on the underside of the nose area; patches of discoloration).  This is a Real Warthog Skull - Not a replica.  It will have natural imperfections.  Review all photos carefully - You are buying this one. All of our warthog skulls have been cleaned and whitened; however, there may be patches of discoloration.  The warthog or common warthog (Phacochoerus africanus) is a wild member of the pig family found in grassland, savanna, and woodland in sub-Saharan Africa.    Warthogs got their names from the bumps on their faces that look like warts. They also each have four tusks, two on each side of their snouts. The upper tusks are longer and curve toward each other.
