Matching pair of Large African Warthog Ivory Tusks, ivory for carving,  ranging in size from 9 inches to 9-7/8 inches, measured around the curve of the tusk using a cloth tape measure - not straight!  These are good, commercial grade pairs of large warthog tusks.  Some may have tiny surface cracks, chips and natural worn down tips. Warthog ivory is used for making knife handles, carvings, making warthog handles for walking canes and for numerous taxidermy craft projects. Warthogs got their names from the bumps on their faces that look like warts. They also each have four tusks, two on each side of their snouts. The upper tusks are longer and curve toward each other. Warthogs are pigs that live in Africa south of the Sahara.

You will receive a matching pair of tusks that look similar to those pictured.  No 2 will be identical.  They will vary in size, shape and coloring.
