Own a authentic piece of nature with this real American alligator head taxidermy display . Measuring approximately 9-3/4 inches long by 4-3/4 inches wide , this impressive specimen comes from an estimated 6-foot gator . It serves as a perfect addition to any oddities collection, rustic home decor, or unique educational display.  We believe in complete transparency: you are buying the exact alligator head pictured . Please review all photos carefully to inspect its unique characteristics before purchasing. This is a 100% real American alligator head, not a synthetic replica.  The skin and skull have undergone a professional curing process, preserving the piece for years to come. Fitted with high-quality glass eyes (clear or opaque) for a lifelike appearance.  The open back of the head does not have felt backing; instead, it is neatly painted black.  Because this gator lived, fought, and aged in the wild, it may feature natural imperfections, minor scratches, or chipped/missing teeth.

Did you know that American Alligators carry between 74 and 80 teeth in their mouths at any given time? As their teeth wear down, they are constantly replaced. An alligator can easily go through 2,000 to 3,000 teeth over the course of its lifetime!

A clear sealant is applied to protect the specimen. This creates a noticeable odor upon unboxing, which will naturally subside over time once displayed in a ventilated area.
