Terebra Maculata Auger Shells, also referred to as Marlinspike, are in the family Terebridae.  They will measure approximately 4 to 4-7/8 inches long and are pale yellow in color with rows of brown patches in a spiral design.  Terebra maculata seashells are from a large family of long, slender shells. They are smooth or ornamented and often highly colored.  Perfect shell to use as an accent in a glass container or basket.
