Polished Large Kudu Horn for Sale,  from an African Greater Kudu, Tragelaphus strepsiceros, measuring approximately 44-5/8 inches long, measured around the curl of the horn, using a cloth tape measure; (33-1/2 inches measured straight with a wood ruler). The outer rough layer was sanded down and then buffed to a polished shine.  These horns have sections of visible ridges mixed with smooth sections.  This is a real  Polished Kudu Horn - not a replica.  It will have natural imperfections from the animal living in the wild, fighting and aging.  Kudu horns are used to make shofars or blowing horns, sconces, lamps, furniture legs, knife handles and cane handles, and in numerous other taxidermy crafts.  No 2 are identical.  Some have a tighter curl than others.
