Brown Giant Lion's Paw Scallop Shell Halves, a heavy, thick shell with rough ridges covering its outer surface and having a smooth interior.  These Lion's Paw Scallop Shells can be used for baking seafood, shell crafts and decorating.  They will measure approximately 5 inches to 5-3/4 inches. The brown giant lion's paw scallops, or Nodipecten subnodosus are found in the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of California, the Baja California Peninsula, Mexico and southward to the western coast of Peru.  Our shells are Real - NOT Replicas.  They will have natural imperfections.  Lion's paw scallop shells are used in baking and displaying seafood, as soap dishes on bathroom counter tops and for smudging.
