Real Dusky Shark Jaw for Sale, (Carcharhinus obscurus) with very sharp teeth, measuring 9-3/4 inches wide and 7-3/4 inches high, cleaned and ready for display or for use in crafts. The Dusky shark jaws were imported from India and have been cleaned but NOT whitened and will have patches of dark discoloration. They are real and will have imperfections such as cuts or scrapes on the cartilage area, some missing or broken teeth, some small holes in the cartilage and there may be an odor from the cleaning agents used. Our dusky shark jaws were obtained from India's fishing industry and are not endangered. They are real - not replicas. They have been cleared for legal entry into the US by the US Fish and Wildlife Department and US customs.

The dusky shark (Carcharhinus obscurus) is a species of requiem shark, in the family Carcharhinidae, occurring in tropical and warm-temperate continental seas worldwide. The dusky shark can be found from the coast to the outer continental shelf and adjacent pelagic waters, and has been recorded from a depth of 1,300 ft. They migrate seasonally towards the poles in the summer and towards the equator in the winter, traveling hundreds to thousands of kilometers. Females bear litters of 3 to 14 young after a gestation period of 22 to 24 months, after which there is a year of rest before they become pregnant again. Females are capable of storing sperm for long periods, as their encounters with suitable mates may be few and far between due to their nomadic lifestyle and low overall abundance.
