Each genuine gator skull measures approximately 7 to 8 inches in length and comes from a wild or farmed Florida alligator measuring roughly 5 to 6 feet long.

Did you know that alligators have between 74 and 80 teeth in their mouths at any given time? As their teeth wear down, they are constantly replaced. In fact, a single alligator can go through 2,000 to 3,000 teeth in its lifetime! 

Please note: During the intense natural cleaning and whitening process, an alligator’s teeth naturally fall out of the jawbone. We carefully glue the teeth back into place by hand. Because of this, some skulls may feature hot melt glue residue, and the teeth may not be in their exact original placement or sequence.
