Case of 20 kilos (44 pounds) Silver conch shells (Silverlip conch), Lentigo lentiginosus, measuring between approximately 2-1/2 to 3 inches. Silverconchs are used for making shell mirrors, wreaths and other seashell crafts. The adult shell of Lentigo lentiginosus is very heavy and thick, with a raised rounded spikes on the upper part of the shell and smooth bumps on the remainder of the exterior. The mouth opening has a flared, very thick and posteriorly expanded outer lip. The silver conch is a species of medium sized sea snail in the family, Strombidae, the true conchs.

Our shells are craft grade for seashell arts and crafts. You will receive some with chipped edges, tiny holes and other natural imperfections.
