Two Authentic Bignose Shark Jaws for Sale, cleaned, whitened and ready for display with Very Sharp Teeth.  One measures 7-5/8 inches long and 3-3/4 inches wide. The second one measures 6-1/4 inches long and 3 inches wide The bignose shark (Carcharhinus altimus) is a species of requiem shark in the family Carcharhinidae. Distributed worldwide in tropical and subtropical waters, this migratory shark frequents deep waters around the edges of the continental shelf. It is typically found at depths of 300 to 1,410 ft, though at night it may move towards the surface or into shallower water. The bignose shark is plain-colored and grows to at least 8.9 to 9.2 ft in length. It has a long, broad snout with prominent nasal skin flaps, and tall, triangular upper teeth.  Hunting close to the sea floor, the bignose shark feeds on bony and carilaginous fishes, and cephalopods.  Females bear litters of three to 15 pups after a 10-month gestation period. Despite its size, this shark lives too deep to pose much danger to humans.

These shark jaws were obtained from the Taiwan fishing industry and are not endangered.  They are real - not replicas.  They will have imperfections, such as cuts or scrapes on the cartilage, some missing or broken teeth, and they may have an odor from the cleaning and whitening agents used.  They have been cleared for legal entry into the US by the US Fish and Wildlife Department and US customs.
