Pearl Haliotis Diversicolor Abalone Shells, a small variously colored abalone sold by the kilo bag (2.2 pounds). The size of the shell varies between 1 and 3-1/2 inches. The outer layer has been chemically removed revealing a beautiful white layer.  The shell is long and oval.  The surface of the shell has spirally thread like lines, unequal, rounded and crossed by low folds. Its natural color pattern is reddish-brown, scarlet and green in irregular patches and streaks. The coloration is very variable.
