African Tiger Cowrie Shells, Cypraea tigris, a shiny cowrie shell sold in a bulk bag of 100 for Seashell Crafts.  These small tiger cowrie shells were imported from Africa and will measure between approximately 2 inches and 2-1/2 inches in size (Some may be a little over or under this size range.). These tiger cowrie shells are mostly shiny and found on the Eastern Coast of Africa on the ocean floor.  The top of the shells are off white to tan colored and are covered with black or dark brown spots.  Our shells are real - not replicas.  They will vary in size, shape and coloring.
