 Deer's feet are like big thick toenails. Deer feet have 3 parts: the compact horn, the sole horn and the cuneus. Bucks tend to have longer and wider hooves than does. Hooves grow faster in the summer and slowest in the winter.

 You are buying the deer legs pictured.  Carefully review all photos.  They will have natural imperfections and will have an odor from the preserving process.
