Pink Sea Urchin Shells Wholesale sold in a case of 1000.  Our pink sea urchins were sourced from the Pacific Oceans, and measure between approximately 1-1/4 inches and 1-3/4 inches.  Perfect for businesses displaying air plants, crafting urchin snowman ornaments, using as accents on shell mirrors, shell wreaths or simply displaying in a glass container or basket.  These are real pink sea urchin shells - not replicas.  They will vary in size and coloring.  Some will be bright pink and others will be pale pink.   The pink sea urchin belongs to a group of invertebrates called echinoderms.  They have a flattened apple shaped body covered in short spines.  They walk on tiny tube-shaped feet.  The mouth of the pink sea urchin is on the underside of its body and has 5 teeth used to push into its mouth pieces of kelp and scraps of food that drift down from the shallower water.  It can go long period without food.  Once the pink sea urchin is sun dried the spines fall off exposing the beautiful pink colored shell.
