Preserved authentic Opossum Tails or Possum Tails measuring between approximately 7 and 12 inches long.  The bases of these tails have been rough cut and they have not been painted.  Opossum tails are used in Voodoo rituals.  They are cured and dried, making them suitable for Halloween decoration or craft projects.  You will receive tails that look similar to those pictured.

Opossum tails are rounded and about one-third the size of their entire body (or about 8 to 13 inches long).  Their tails range in color from white and cream to gray and have a scaly texture.  The possum tails appear nearly hairless and allow them to grasp, carry and wrap around tree limb and it can support the animal’s weight while holding onto a branch.
