Polished Turbo Sarmaticus Shells Wholesale, for large hermit crab homes and decorating also called the African turban shell.  Our polished turbo sarmaticus shells were imported from the Philippines and measure between 2-1/2 inches and 2-7/8 inches in size. The turbo sarmaticus for hermit crabs have had the outer layer of the shell removed and polished revealing a orange red shell with patterns of white mother of pearl accented with black. 

Turbo sarmaticus, common name the South African turban, is a species of sea snail, marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turbinidae. These are real shells - not replicas.  They will have natural imperfections from living in the ocean and aging.  No 2 will be identical. There may be a tag attached "Made in the Philippines". This is a requirement of the US Customs Department.

We will select a shell that looks similar to those pictured.  No 2 will be identical.
