46-3/4 and 48 inches Large Kudu Horns on Skull Plate, measured around the curl of the horns (36-1/4 and 37 inches measured straight with a wood ruler) (Tragelaphus strepsiceros). Carefully review all photos. You are buying this one. The kudu horns are measured around the curl of the horn using a cloth tape measure -- NOT straight with a wood ruler. The horns are removed from the skull plate for shipping and can easily be reattached. This is a Real Kudu Skull Plate with Horns - NOT a Replica. It will have imperfections from living in the wild, fighting an aging. Greater kudus, Tragelaphus strepsiceros, are found in Eastern and Southern Africa. The kudu's horns are spiral shape.
