Product Details

Good Quality African Impala Skull for Sale with 20-1/2 inches Horns, measured around the curve of the horn,  (Aeryceros melampus).  The skull measures approximately 10-1/2 inches long (Missing few teeth). This is a Real Impala Skull with Horns - Not a Replica.  It will have natural imperfections from living in the wild, fighting and aging.

Impalas are medium-sized antelopes that roam the savanna and light woodlands of eastern and southern Africa. In the rainy season, when food is plentiful, they may gather in large herds of several hundred animals to browse on grasses and herbs, bushes, shrubs, and shoots. Females are hornless and smaller than males. Males grow slender, lyre-shaped horns 18 to 36 inches long. The horns, strongly ridged and varying, are circular in section and hollow at the base. Their arch-like structure allows interlocking of horns, which helps a male throw off his opponent during fights; horns also protect the skull from damage.

All our impala skulls have been professionally cleaned in South Africa.  They have cleared US Fish and Wildlife and US Customs for legal entry into the US.
